Directions

Located in the Gulf Islands between Vancouver and Victoria, off Canada’s west coast, Salt Spring Island is served by three major ferry routes connecting directly to Salt Spring Island: from terminals at Tsawwassen, about 40 minutes south Vancouver downtown; Swartz Bay, about half an hour north of Victoria downtown, and 7 minutes from Victoria International Airport; and from Crofton, on Vancouver Island, 45 minutes south of the city of Nanaimo.

BC Ferries (Tsawwassen to Long Harbour) Schedule
Crossing Time: Direct: 1 hour 30 minutes, 2 stops: 2 hours 10 minutes, 3 stops: 2 hours 50 minutes
Reservations are recommended.

To Cedar Beach Resort from Long Harbour:

Take Long Harbour Road from the ferry. Turn left on Robinson Road and then right on Lower Ganges Road. Lower Ganges Road turns into North End Road. Cedar Beach Resort is on the left. Total time: approximately 15-20 minutes.

BC Ferries (Swartz Bay to Fulford Harbour) Schedule
Crossing Time: 35 minutes

To Cedar Beach Resort from Fulford Harbour:

Take Fulford-Ganges Road from the ferry and through Ganges (stay to the left in town).
Keep on the main road, which turns into Lower Ganges Road, and then into North End Road. Cedar Beach Resort is on the left. Total time: approximately 25 minutes.

BC Ferries (Crofton to Vesuvius Bay) Schedule
Crossing Time: 20 minutes

To Cedar Beach Resort from Vesuvius Bay

Take Vesuvius Bay Road from the ferry. Turn left on North End Road. Cedar Beach Resort is on the left. Total Time: approximately 10 minutes
